Installation and setup instructions for Zoom

In order to configure Zoom and start a video conference on your device, select your device to connect from the following:

Customization

Any browser on Windows

1. First, you need to click on the link of the form https://zoom.us/j/000000000,
2. You will see a window the same as that shown in the figure below. There you will need to click “Run the application” and the platform will automatically download and install.

3. After downloading and installation – your platform will automatically start and you will need to enter your name. And click the “Join” button as shown in the figure below.

4. After that, you will need to click “Join Audio By Computer”, as shown in the figure below.

Mac OS chrome and other browsers

1. First, you need to click on the link of the form https://zoom.us/j/000000000, which the webinar organizer will reset to you in general chat on Skype.
2. You will see a window the same as that shown in the figure below. There you will need to click “Launch Application” and the platform will automatically download and install.


3. After downloading and installation – your platform will automatically start and you will need to enter your name. And click the “Join” button as shown in the figure below.

4. After that, you will need to click “Join Audio By Computer”, as shown in the figure below.

Zoom for iOs: iPad, iPhone

1. First, you need to go to the App Store and enter “Zoom cloud meetings” there and download/install the application for webinars. It looks like the screenshot below.

2. Next you need to run the “Zoom” application. And you will see an interface like the one below. In it, you will need to click on “Join a meeting” in the lower right as shown in the figure below.

3. Here you will need to enter a nine-digit Meeting Id, which you can ask the webinar administrator for your name. And then click the “Join” button


4. After you click “Join”, a window will pop up, as in the figure below, where you will need to click the “Allow” button so that we can hear you.

5. Well, after that a window will pop up where you will need to select the option “Call using internal audio” so that you can hear us.

Zoom for Android

1. First, you need to go to the Play Market and enter “Zoom.us” there and download/install the application for webinars. It looks like the screenshots below.


2. Next you need to run the “Zoom” application. And you will see an interface like the one below. In it, you will need to click on “Join a meeting” in the lower right as shown in the figure below.

3. There you will need to enter a nine-digit Meeting Id, which you can ask the webinar administrator for your name. And then click the “Join” button

4. After you enter Meeting id and name, you will be taken to our webinar room. To be able to hear us and speak for yourself, you need to select the “Call via device audio” variation in the pop-up window at the bottom left, as shown in the screenshot below.


What should I do if the download did not start automatically in the browser when I opened the link?

If you encounter a problem when a link was opened in a browser, and downloading and installing the platform did not go automatically, you need to do the following:

On the open page, click on “Download & run Zoom” and after downloading the application installer, launch it, and then follow the steps that will be described below:

2. After downloading and installation – your platform will automatically start and you will need to enter your name. And click the “Join” button as shown in the figure below.

3. After that, you will need to click “Join Audio By Computer”, as shown in the figure below.

Help for those with more than 1 microphone connected to a computer or laptop
(on laptops this is very often).

So, colleague, if you got here, then you obviously have a laptop or PC with a large number of connected microphones (2 or more). And here I would like to clearly demonstrate how to switch them if no one hears you.

1. To switch the microphone, you need to click on the up arrow next to the microphone icon on the platform below, as shown in the figure below:

2. When you click on this arrow, a menu pops up with all your microphones. You can see your microphones in the red box, which is in the screenshot below:

3. This is how you can switch microphones and determine which one works.

How to determine which of the microphones works? Everything is simple here!
Switch the microphone and try to say something! If the microphone is working, then you will see that the microphone icon is filled in green, as shown in the figure below:
